2022 annual giving pledge
Your generosity in 2021 enabled Elmwood to not only survive, but to thrive during year #2 of the lingering COVID-19 pandemic. When faced with persistent disruption and uncertainty, your support throughout the year positioned us to embrace new ways to worship, serve, connect with, and care for our congregation and community.
As we move into 2022, focused on our call to transform lives and empower believers, we invite you to help us achieve Elmwood’s mission by participating in the Annual Giving Pledge.
Through this year’s Giving Pledge, we are asking each Elmwood member to make a financial commitment in support the Church’s mission and operations, and a commitment of time and talent in support of a Church ministry. Members also can pledge an additional amount towards the Rooted & Reaching building projects.
The Annual Giving Pledge is not a new financial campaign or a donation over and beyond your regular tithes or offerings. It is a way for you to declare the amount of financial support and volunteerism you already plan to contribute to Elmwood this year. By informing us of your giving intentions, you make it possible for us to sustain critical ministries and more effectively manage the Church operations.
We hope each member will prayerfully consider pledging at a level of generosity that flows from the outpouring of God’s grace, mercy and blessings in their life. Some members may choose to tithe, by giving 10% of their income to the Church. Others may give a different percentage, and still others will give as they are able. Regardless of the amount, every pledge makes a difference.
